  Prayer, SERENITY NOW

                         Dear

God please grant me the
Serenity to accept the
things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things
I can; and
the Wisdom to know
the difference.
Living one day at a time
enjoying one moment at a time.
And living with peace and
Love in my heart"

Harnessing the Wisdom of the Soul

Sit quietly amidst your thoughts and dreams and let your Soul speak to you. Find the inner voice of your Soul wisdom and listen to it. Ask it for guidance and allow your self to hear the whispers that are always there. Stay in silence as you learn to give your inner spiritual self the time and attention it so craves and when you do, you will find the answers you have been looking for lying within waiting to be heard.

Does a Butterfly feel happiness...

I smiled with delight as a small lilac butterfly flitted past me. I turned back to follow it as my heart brimmed with happiness at the sight of this small delicate beautiful creature. It landed on a leaf of a tree and I was suddenly acutely aware of the impact this precious creature had on me.... and I wondered. Do Butterfly's feel happiness.
Or do they simply exist, spreading their wings and taking flight, filling the world with their lightness and beauty.

The Art of Meditation

Meditating is the act of simply being still, still in our thoughts, still in our emotions, our worries and our ego. For when we are still we allow a channel to open that connects us with our Higher Selves. In this state we are free to exist in the realms of consciousness and with practice we can use this space to bring healing and awareness to our Soul.

There are many ways in which to meditate. Some people like to use guided meditations. Others use mantra or sacred verse to help ease their Mind and bring themselves into stillness. Everything in this world holds a vibration and flow of consciousness. Allowing stillness to emerge within allows you to align with the vibration and flow of the consciousness of what you are wishing to work with. Therefore when working with symbols and sacred verse allow yourself to slow-down within yourself so that you can feel the resonance of meaning and Truth that lies within the energetic core inherent and alive within each and every act of creation, be it conscious or not.

Using the sacred chant of OM is very powerful, as it awakens the higher realms within us while helping us to become more grounded in our own being. To engage in a deep meditation you may like to relax by sitting comfortably, perhaps even lying down, or to sit cross-legged while holding your hands either palm up in your lap, in prayer position by your heart or by linking your thumbs and index fingers and resting them in your lap.

Always start your meditation by calling in your Higher Self and connecting with your Heart. Your Heart is the gateway to your Soul; learning to live with an open Heart will further assist you as you step back into the Truth of who you are. Learn to be in your Heart more and more each day, sit with it, hear it and be conscious of it as you bring yourself to stillness and be in meditation. Use this space to ask questions of consciousness and guidance from your Soul and enjoy what comes up for you. Record your findings in your Journal of Consciousness and carry yourself forward in your own enlightenment.

Always end your meditation by giving thanks for any messages or assistance you receive. Giving thanks affirms our connection and interconnectedness to the oneness of all that is.

“Step into your Soul and find your way back to your Self. The Beauty of all creation lies within you. You are a manifestation of your Soul-Self-Truth experiencing the joyful expression of life”

The Peaceful Power of Reiki

The Peaceful Power of Reiki

The Peaceful Power of Reiki

Charity Amy Murphy
Reiki goes back to around 3,000 B.C. and has been practiced for thousands of years. A Japanese scholar, Dr. Mikao Usui, rediscovered the lost art in the 19 century and began healing and attuning people all around the world into its healing energy. It is for people of all faiths, belief systems and religions and is used to bring healing and balance into peoples lives.

In order to practice Reiki a person must be attuned to the energy by a Reiki Master. This energy is progressively strengthened and focused by initiation into the three levels or degrees of Reiki. As a Reiki and Seichem healer I have been attuned and initiated into all three levels of Tera-Mai™ Reiki and Tera-Mai™ Seichem, and I am a Master in both healing arts.

Tera-Mai™ – Seichem healing originates from and works through the same source as Tera-Mai™ Reiki. Whereas Reiki is an ‘Elemental Earth Energy’, Seichem brings in the added healing rays of ‘Fire’, ‘Air’ and ‘Water’ to work through the Reiki energy and thus bring about an enhancement to the attuned healer’s potential.

The knowledge of how the extra elemental healing rays of fire, water and air could be channelled was given to Kathleen Milner, the initiator of Tera Mai™ Reiki. A description of these energies and how they may feel in a healing session is given below.

A Brief Description of Healing Energies

* Earth (Reiki) energy is experienced as hot and cold (just like the surface of the planet). It works on the physical body and grounds all healing work. It also harmonises the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.

* Water (Sophi-El) is experienced as undulating waves of cool energy that brings up deep emotional issues for healing. Thus, the healee is able to feel the negative emotions and then release them to the Tera-Mai healer, who gives the negativity to the angels for transformation. It helps open the heart to receive love and compassion therefore assisting greatly with emotional healing.

* Fire (Sakara) is clearly distinguished as rapid pulses or sparks of low voltage electricity. Oftentimes, the healer will experience the sensation of pins & needles-like energy in the palms of his/her hands. Healees often feel the sparkling energy or a current or energy on or in their body. Sakara gives the healer the ability to heal the aura or energy field surrounding the living.

* Air (Angeliclight) is the 2-fold energy of air and spirit. It enhances the healing ability of the third eye and the voice and breath. It helps bring about mental healing. The presence of angels is often experienced. It can be felt as a a cool breeze as the Angeliic-light Air work with Spirit to bring gentle and deep healing.

Ethical Principles of Reiki
Just for today do not worry.
Just for today do not anger.
Honor your parents, teachers and elders.
Earn your living honestly.
Show gratitude to everything.

Going Up Another Level

Sometimes we need to go up another level to move great distances. Just like an aeroplane lifts off, leaving the familiar land behind, it takes off into a new dimension in order to travel to a new destination.

In order to see the bigger picture we need to leave the familiar, we need to escape our reality as we currently are experiencing it and leap into an unknown universe of possibility. Where life itself is transient, open, limitless.

When you leave the inner walls of your current mindscape and embrace the consciousness and expansiveness of your Soul, you allow your being to breathe. And as you lift above your nodes of experiences you connect with your higher mind to see the reality and the consciousness that is within you.

See the bigger picture, see the path ahead as a means to freedom and set yourself free from the burdens that have until now been allowed to exist in your mind, in your heart, your spirit and your Soul.

Step out of the old, the stuck, the limited, and affirm your Self as a powerful, purposeful being who has the vision and capacity to lead the life you call for deep in the heart of your being.

Lift yourself above the playing field and like a plane who needs to travel great distances, move yourself into a different atmosphere and explore your creative, spiritual, limitless Self.

Shine bright and radiate.
Follow your happiness
And live with peace

Making Tomorrow Today

What happens when you make tomorrow - Today

It has been said to me recently that one of the biggest obstacles to making positive changes in your life is the word ~ tomorrow.

I didn't quite get this at first, but then it was explained to me that if you make tomorrow, "today" you start action and therefore are actively taking charge of your life in the "Now".

Think about all the plans we busily make in our minds... Tomorrow I'm going to make those calls, tomorrow I'm going to go to the gym, tomorrow I'm going to work on my novel, tomorrow I'm going to start that project, tomorrow...

Making tomorrow ~ to-day, means we make the changes we want now and we live in the positive and build on our abilities to empower and fuel our true selves into the vision of what and who we aspire to be.

How about we say...

Today I will sit down and write for an hour,
Today I'm going to do my accounts,
Today I'm going to go to the gym,
Today I will make those calls,
Today I'm going to go to the park,
Today I will enjoy my day,

Today...
